Beginning Drawing & Painting Monday 9:30 – noon with James Oleson

This exciting new class is developed for the beginning artist. You will learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting. You will create simple shapes and learn to draw, shade and paint them. You will move on to other subjects. You will learn about how to mix colors and how to use brushes. James will help you develop your talent and your signature style in a fun relaxed atmosphere. He will demonstrate daily and give you one to one attention. So sign up now to start the adventure of becoming an artist.

Figure Drawing Workshop with Doug Land
Saturday March 24, 9:30am-noon
Basic sketching and study exercises will help provide a solid foundation for work outside the workshop. We will work from handouts, as well as review key anatomy and drawing principles that help simplify the complex structure of the human figure. Materials and subject matter can be of the students selection. Only $20 for session

Students may bring their own pencil, paper, eraser and other drawing materials of choice. I would also encourage students to bring samples of their work as well as any photos or images they may wish to work from.
